Tickle Funny Bones and Being Happy

There are many kinds of advocacy in this world including political parties, pro and against oil, environmental and otherwise. C.I is a level headed organization that does not seek confrontation or creating division and sides with businesses or with neighbors. I am sure the likes of that will attempt provocation but the organizations responses will be unique, creative and as much as possible humorous. Being part of the community is important and part of doing that is being neighborly and friendly whenever humanly possible.

C.I exists to include and create opportunity for individuals with autism and other kinds of developmental disabilities that choose to be part of the organization. This organization is not about disability abortion politics, being mean or so much about profiting. It’s intended to use funding to create efficient, effective and note worthy accomplishments for the benefit of participants. With that said some thought I was getting rich as an autism self-advocate and after 4-years I still do not make a paycheck and participants make much more then me.

As time goes on this organization thankfully will depend much less on my participation. It’s been entertaining, a life experience and in part thrilling to lead it. However as time progresses others will take the helm and my job will to be sure this organization becomes what I envision it to become. Not about salaries for helpers and corporate leadership but accomplishing goals to change the world in small ways step by step.

Sincerely,

Nathan Young
