Bulldozing
down societal barriers for autism and
developmental disability opportunity is
the purpose of this organization. While
it is a recession still the first
project began prior to recession being
noticed in the media The candle project
has made a good awareness in the
community with many noteworthy awareness
accomplishments.
What the
difference is between this organization
and other somewhat related organizations
at times is its cause related instead of
viewing participants as units of profit
for salaries. The organization is in a
unique position and of the authority of
an individual with autism instead of
special interest in a profit model. This
organization was not founded for the
reason of profitability or salaries. It
will top wages at rates considered rich
to individuals with developmental
disabilities but are yet not
considerable considering the caliber of
this organization.
Some
volunteerism helps with what would cost
a great amount of money for certain
specialties is consistently available. A
well paid entry level support worker
employee base due to lower overhead will
be sought. New energy, people that will
not be accustomed to stereotypical
thinking concerning us and overbearing
instruction toward us to allow
creativity, freedom and the civil rights
and opportunity facilitation in a unique
day program environment.
C.I is in the
final stages of acquiring Lanterman Act
funding which is available to any new
social service private sector business.
They them become private sector agencies
but yet this organization functions
radically different then similar
organizations. The consumers are in
control of their program model and
support staff will provide assistance.
C.I has already acquired an experienced
program director and consults with other
social service professionals whom are
well aware of the C.I inclusion project
for some four years.
